• Create an account with your name and email address.
• Add your ECT year, induction start date and mentor on the Account page.
• Choose Plan a lesson and follow the four steps: lesson details, lesson plan, resources and evidence.

Choose the key stage, year group, subject and national curriculum topic, the length of the lesson and any additional needs in the class. TeacherOS writes a timed plan with a starter, main activity and plenary. Read it carefully, edit anything that doesn't suit your class, then approve it.

Once a plan is approved, TeacherOS can make worksheets (as PDF and Word), an answer key for you, and PowerPoint slides. The answers are written by AI, so check them before you mark with them.

After you teach a lesson, choose Add reflection in My lessons and note what went well, what would be even better, what pupils learned and your next steps. Your reflection is saved on its own and uses no AI generations. Find evidence then matches your approved plan and your reflection to the Teachers' Standards and writes an entry for each: the situation and what you did. Your reflection on the lesson goes with the evidence, so you write it once, not for each standard. The Evidence page brings all of your entries together, filtered by standard or sub-standard.

Each lesson plan, set of resources and evidence report uses one AI generation. You get 10 free generations each month, and they reset on the 1st. If a generation fails, it is given back.

You can download everything you have made from the Account page, and delete your account there at any time.
